  • Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris Hand Signed Autographed New York Yankees Photograph
  • Mickey Mantle (1931–1995) and Roger Maris (1934–1985) formed one of the most famous power-hitting combinations in Major League Baseball history as teammates with the New York Yankees. Their legendary pursuit of Babe Ruth’s single-season home-run record during the 1961 season became one of baseball’s most celebrated stories, earning the pair the nickname the “M&M Boys.”Mantle, affectionately known as “The Mick,” was a powerful switch-hitting center fielder who spent his entire 18-season career with the Yankees. A 20-time All-Star and three-time American League MVP, Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956 and finished his career with 536 home runs, 2,415 hits, and 1,509 RBIs. He helped New York capture seven World Series championships and holds the record with 18 career World Series home runs.Maris earned consecutive American League MVP Awards in 1960 and 1961. During the historic 1961 season, Mantle and Maris challenged Babe Ruth’s record of 60 home runs, with Maris ultimately hitting 61 home runs to establish a new Major League single-season record. His American League mark stood for 61 years. Maris finished his career with 275 home runs and appeared in seven World Series, winning three championships.Together, Mantle and Maris powered the Yankees to the 1961 World Series championship and became enduring symbols of baseball’s golden era. Mantle’s No. 7 and Maris’ No. 9 were both retired by the Yankees, preserving the legacy of one of the most celebrated teammate pairings in baseball history.
