  • Pete Rose Hand Signed Autographed Baseball
  • Pete Rose (1941–2024), famously nicknamed “Charlie Hustle,” was one of the most prolific hitters and relentless competitors in Major League Baseball history. Rose played 24 Major League seasons, primarily with the Cincinnati Reds, while also playing for the Philadelphia Phillies and Montreal Expos.A 17-time All-Star, three-time batting champion, two-time Gold Glove winner, and 1973 National League MVP, Rose was remarkably versatile, earning All-Star selections at five different positions. He became a central figure in Cincinnati’s legendary “Big Red Machine,” helping the Reds capture consecutive World Series championships in 1975 and 1976 and earning 1975 World Series MVP honors. He later helped Philadelphia win the 1980 World Series.Rose’s defining statistical achievement was becoming Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader. He surpassed Ty Cobb in 1985 and finished his career with a record 4,256 hits and a .303 batting average. Rose also holds Major League records for games played and at-bats, reflecting the extraordinary durability that characterized his career.Rose’s legacy remains complicated by his 1989 placement on baseball’s permanently ineligible list following an investigation into gambling on baseball. Nevertheless, his unmatched hit total, aggressive playing style, longevity, and championship success made “Charlie Hustle” one of the most recognizable and accomplished players of his generation.
