  • Rocky Colavito Hand Signed Autographed Sports Magazine Cover Framed Magazine
  • Rocky Colavito (1933–2024), nicknamed “The Rock,” was one of Major League Baseball’s premier power hitters of the late 1950s and 1960s. Best remembered for his years with the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers, Colavito was known for his powerful right-handed swing, strong throwing arm, and ability to drive in runs.A six-time All-Star, Colavito enjoyed his breakout season with Cleveland in 1959, when he led the American League with 42 home runs. That same year, he became one of the few players in Major League history to hit four home runs in a single game. After being traded to Detroit in 1960, he remained one of the American League’s most feared sluggers, including a 1961 season in which he hit 45 home runs with 140 RBIs.Over his 14-season Major League career, Colavito accumulated 374 home runs, 1,159 RBIs, and 1,730 hits. A fan favorite in both Cleveland and Detroit, “The Rock” remains especially remembered as one of the most prolific home-run hitters of his era.
