  • Deacon Jones & Roman Gabriel Hand Signed Autographed NFL Football
  • Deacon Jones (1938–2013), famously nicknamed the “Secretary of Defense,” was one of the most dominant defensive players in professional football history. Jones played 14 NFL seasons from 1961–1974, starring primarily with the Los Angeles Rams before finishing his career with the San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins. As a cornerstone of the Rams’ legendary “Fearsome Foursome” defensive line, Jones became renowned for his extraordinary ability to pressure opposing quarterbacks and is widely credited with popularizing the term “sack.” An eight-time Pro Bowl selection and five-time First-Team All-Pro, he twice earned NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors. Although sacks were not yet an official NFL statistic during his career, later historical research credits Jones with 173½ career sacks, including an extraordinary 22 in only 14 games in 1964. Jones was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980, and his No. 75 was retired by the Rams, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest defensive ends in NFL history.
  • Roman Gabriel (1940–2024) was a pioneering NFL quarterback best remembered for his years with the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles. A standout at North Carolina State, Gabriel became the first Filipino-American quarterback to start regularly in the NFL after joining the Rams in 1962. At 6-foot-4 and roughly 220 pounds, his combination of size, arm strength, and toughness helped establish the mold for the modern big-bodied quarterback. Gabriel enjoyed his finest season in 1969, when he was named NFL Most Valuable Player after leading the Rams to an 11–3 record. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, he later joined Philadelphia and led the NFL with 3,219 passing yards and 23 touchdown passes in 1973, earning NFL Comeback Player of the Year honors. Gabriel finished his 16-season professional career with 29,444 passing yards and 201 touchdown passes and remains an important figure in both Rams history and the development of the quarterback position.
